After having a terrible experience with another lawn care company last year that starts with a "T" and and rhymes with "mean", it's truly been a pleasure with the Lawn Doctor. My lawn looks fantastic and has mostly recovered from the damage done last year. I've been getting a lot of compliments from my neighbors too. One thing I really like is the fact that I have the same tech come to my property every time. I got to know him, and he gets to know me and my lawn :) Michael, is a super friendly guy that really knows his stuff and will take the time to answer my questions or concerns when I have them. ~ Custom W

I started using Lawn Doctoring August 2020 and my lawn has never looked better. For years I used Scott’s 4 steps and was never happy as I always had crab grass and my lawn was always stressed in the summertime. Ron who services our property is very knowledgeable and responsive if we see something that concerns us. This past year was the first year that I had no crab grass and my lawn is thick green and lush. I couldn’t be happier with their service. Additionally the cost of their service is not that much more than doing it myself. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a beautiful lawn. ~ Neal L

I'm a new customer of Lawn Doctor, so while I cannot speak objectively as to results, I can say that given the consistency of Michael 's service to date, I am expecting the highest quality. He does service my lawn with regularity, and does his work neatly and efficiently. I switched to Lawn Doctor from TG two years ago and couldn’t be happier. My lawn has never been this green before! Lawn Doctor accesses what your needs are and works with you to achieve them. Rather than having rotating technicians like other companies, there’s only one, Michael Waldman, assigned to my home. During each visit Michael gives me an update on the overall status and lays out plans to improve the problems areas as well. Lawn Doctor has been helping with keeping our lawn healthy throughout the year with timely fertilizer treatments and any occasional spot weed control. Their pre emergent treatment in early April is top notch and lasted all year. Sabrina was very thorough with treating the entire property this past Monday. Give them a call if your lawn needs a kick start. You're in good hands! Edit: Just giving an update Ryan Deflumere came for the last few treatments and has been doing an excellent job. Our lawn never looked this good since I signed up with Lawn Doctor. We have a sprinkler system, so I can easily water appropriately. The year before, with another service company, the lawn browned out. I notified the lawn company. They applied some stuff, but it never fixed the problem. This summer, with Lawn Doctor the lawn was looking good (we also had lots of rain), but then it began to brown out again. I called Lawn Doctor. They came right away and applied some stuff. In a few weeks the lawn was looking great again. We are very pleased with their service and expertise. ~ Bernard S

Ron is a caring guy. He treats his customers in a personal and considerate manner. I enjoyed the conversations we had when he came out to my yard. If the customer does their part in so far as watering often between the assigned treatments, the results should be as mine was, which was quite good. My wife and I feel that Lawn Doctor earned our trust and demonstrated results. They are obviously adept and most knowledgeable about the science that is such a vital part of proper lawn treatment. The lawns that used to be in poor shape before we started to use Lawn Doctor get better every year!!! Update 2025: still continue to use and also worked with their consultant on future enhancement to better control ph levels. We've been working with Lawn Doctor of Rockland County for several years now, and their technicians, especially Jack, have done a great job with our lawn. We've noticed a difference in how well our greenery has been thriving especially during the summer heat. And they are good at communicating, sending reminders of when services will be done and being available if you need to change the date of service. Iit eases our minds to get straight forward knowledgeable answers without having to call the office. That minute or 2 of exchange puts a mindful approach on the well trained techs like James H provides..James H has been exemplary . My only concern and this is to Lawn Dr is that after application we had bouts of heavy rain since.. We have niticed today the pesky gnats are back John H is highly qualified and motivated, John assures all areas of the lawn are managed well, takes great care to open and secure gates, answers any concerns or questions with tact and good understanding of the products applied. I was skeptical at first a few years ago when deciding to use a lawn service. My grass was neglected by the previous owner and multiple trips to the local nursery didn't help at all. I finally called them and I noticed significant results in the first season and then phenomenal in the second. I am very pleased with their work. Jack was very pleasant and explained how weed control application would not happen today due to heat to call back and request a weed control service once under 90 degrees. I would just suggest additional yellow warnings of app..it's a corner property so need more on side instead of only one in front of house due to neighbors walking dogs..Thank you ~ Tricia

I use to take care of the lawn on my own. Thought I was saving time and money. But the truth is that I could never get the results that I have gotten with my lawn since I started using Lawn Doctor 2 seasons ago. On 6/5/2024 Michael Waldman serviced the lawn in Washington township. We were very pleased with the job he did. There were hundreds of Maple saplings throughout the lawn that he noticed and sprayed which started to die out within 24 hours. He was informative with his lawn care knowledge. Over the years whenever there was a small problem ( which was very seldom ) it was always taken care of with one phone call. I have been using Lawn doctor for a few years and I am always satisfied with the service as well as the pricing. Most recently I had 1/3 of an acre aerated, seeded and fertilized for a very fair price. The technician did a great job and was very careful not to disturb flower beds while doing a very neat job. James is the very professional very polite and he’s extremely knowledgeable in his field he listens to all your concerns and goes above and beyond for the customer. Lawn doctor quickly recovered our lawn after our hired landscaper turned it into a pest infested mud pit. We have been using them for 3 years now and our grass is consistently green and thick. Michael Waldman (our tech) is excellent, we have spoken on a few occasions and he’s very friendly and explains what he’s doing. ~ Mike M

I hired Lawn Doctor and cut the lawn myself and I am thrilled with how green and lush my lawn looks. They do a fantastic job and costs about the same as my landscaper used to charge. ~ Peter L
